Does anyone know where I can buy american gooseberries? The plant or fruit.?

I was hiking up in my father-in-law's land and found this amazing berry plant but it only had one or 2 on it..they were delicious and he told me they were gooseberries, but i found out they are specifically American Gooseberries..I think that is what they were..they were purplish-black and had a nice tart zing to them. Does anyone know where I can buy the plant or they berries besides going up to the land which is super tough terrain to get to. I love them and I want more!

Hartmann's has a few varieties of gooseberries. Check under "other small fruit plants".
