You know the ones shaped like maple leafs. We've all seen them near Canada Day on July 1, and a lot of stores (The Bay, Sears, etc) all sell them at that time of year, but does anyone know where to find them in January? I'm visiting an American friend next week and they've requested this Canadian treat.

Thanks for your help.

  1. This is a tough one...based on the time of year.  I am not sure what part of T.O. your in, but I know for sure you can get your candies in Niagara Falls.  Sorry that's the best I can do.  As for here in T.O. you can try Yonge Street.  Souvenair shops, near College St.

  2. I found some last year in a bunch of tourist-ey stores downtown. Typically that's where I run into them most often. Otherwise I also think the airport has them in some of their regular stores (non-duty free) that you can access even without being a traveller.

  3. Where in the states are you going,if you come up towards the Sault Ste Marie to go to the states you can stop on Ste Joseph Island as they are made here on the island
