Does anyone know where I can find a community based program for golf in the Atlanta area for youth?

My school doesn't offer any sports and there isn't really anything for me to do that I enjoy other than the student government organization that I am in. So I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction for a golf program for the youth that is affordable because my sweet sixteen is coming up and I want to have both.

There is a first tee of Atlanta, alot of programs for different age groups.  They also work with the tournamnets around the area too to expose young people to the competition.

You can do a search to find the numbers.  I think its near six flags.

Try the area around the East Lake Country Club.  The PGA Tour Championship is played there every year.  It's sponsored by Coca Cola.  They have done a great deal to redevelop the area around East Lake Country Club.  They have gotten a number of the residents involved in different programs and introduced golf to a number of the children in the area.  If not, I'm sure there is a First Tee organization in the Atlanta area as well.
