I live in North Carolina and since we had no rain we have no hay. We are thinking a having some brought in from another state. We need around 150 bales. It could also be corn stalk bales. Thanks for your help.

  1. Every county has an agricultural extension office. They're in the phone book, under govt. Call them--they might be able to help you.

  2. THERE IS NO CHEAP HAY ANYMORE. WITH THE DROUGHT CONDITIONS AROUND THE COUNTRY IT IS HARD TO COME BY.

  3. we have some for sale but we live in arkansas

  4. I think almost everyone had the same problem this year.  Not only is there a hay shortage but grazing is short as well.  This adds up to more hay than ever is needed and less was produced.  You can probably find the hay for sale, but forget about the cheap part.  It is going to cost you.  In my area more people than I ever saw before were baling corn stalks to feed their cattle.  They weren't baling it for sale but to save their cattle. Good luck in your hunting, but be prepared to pay more than you ever thought you would have to for hay.

  5. Hello. we were having the same issues, and what you can do is go online and check out hay. see, we have goats, cows, horses, llamas, chickens, cats dogs and chicks. we are in the process of buying the hay, but it works really well. I m in kansas and we had to go online... HAVE HOPE!

  6. Google Hay, I found 3 good sites today, I'm going to start calling tommorow. Lots of decent deals, lots offer delivery. If your willing to go pick some up there is alot of hay in Texas and Oklahoma. Up here in VA we keep our baler goin all summer and still don't have enough to feed 300 head of cattle

  7. Should be some in East Texas

  8. Here's a link to a hay sellers list in Michigan.
