We are advocating ethanol and other bio-fuel as an alternative for the carbon fuel. I am afraid in the long run, our quest for bio-fuel is going to result in more harm and our natural resources for food and other eatables are going to be diverted for the so called bio-fuel. Already there is a world wide concern over the growing food prices. Dependence of bio-fuel will only worsen the food scenario. I think the right alternative is to tap nuclear energy sources and the renewable energy sources.
