Does anyone know where I can find "primary sources" on the Knights Templar?

I need primary sources for my history paper and I am having a little trouble finding some so any help would be appreciated.

  1. Talk to a librarian at your local library/major univeristy.  you can also go to worldcat.org.  it's a catalog of books at universities across the country.  depending on your local school/cities book policy you may be able to get a book sent to you from another location.  Also, learn the terms for searching in the particular catalogs.  

    Here are a few common ones: (*) behind anything means all the first w/ different variations for the ending so you could write Temp* for templar, templars, temple etc. (sorry couldn't think of a better example).  You can also use boleans like and or nor to include/exclude anything.  Another thing that's good is to think of other words that may describe what your looking for, so in your case maybe crusades, catholic etc.  Remember just cuz the book is not strictly about the KT doesn't mean it doesn't have something about it.  Another thing is to put source, primary, diary, journat etc. to narrow it down to primary sources.  

    Also look at the reference books.  If you need more contact a librarian, or me.
