  1. Spanish Embassy.

  2. Come to Spain and book an appointment with an abogado (lawyer). They will be able to give you any advice you need to working and living in Spain. Having said that, where are you going to live, how much money have you to start your new life. Are you prepared to earn much less than you would in the UK because wages are lower. The cost of living is much cheaper here.

Moving to Spain you will come across more beaurocracy and red tape than you've ever seen in your life.

As for rules to emigrating to Spain. If you are from an EU country you have a right to be here, but that right doesn't mean you'll find work.

    Good luck

  3. If you are an EU citizen, you can go to Spain at any time.

If you intent to work as a Nurse, get your qualifications recognised by the Spanish authorities.

Once you´ve done that, learn the language and look for a job.

    Good luck.

  4. Are you looking for private nursing or general?  If private depending on the area you are looking to move to, it might be worth looking at local press for the area

  5. If you are British, try the British Consulate. But be warned .....It is quite difficult to find work at the moment. I have quite a few friends that are nurses here in Spain. They only have part time work. ..Usually through an agency. Also qiute a few of them are now returning to the UK to do temp work, because the money is better.

  6. At this time there have been reports on TV and in the press that the medical services are short of staff (I am in Andalucia), they are "CONSIDERING" taking on folks from "abroad". Now not being in this work I am not sure what this entails  -  BUT you will have to check if your credentials are valid here for a start, then I suggest you contact the Spanish embassy for all the low down as regards this.

It also does depend from where you are coming from - as this can also make the whole move easier, if you are in the EU, it will be easier BUT there will still be some paperwork to get sorted etc.,

  7. For some general information about emigrating for business purposes, see the information below. Me and my girlfriend have been through this, so you might have some help from our experiences :)

    Good luck!

  8. Try this for info on some of the process:

Although I´ll be honest and say that Spain doesn´t have much in the way of work available at the moment.
