Question:

Does anyone know where I can find some video clips of reports/interviews for learning English?

I teach English in Spain & I have some students (aged 14) who are doing a project where the end result will see them being videoed. They will be interviewing each other as well as talking about themselves & being a reporter. I'm looking for some suitable video footage as a 'model' for them. I've looked on You Tube but as these students are only of a pre-intermediate level I'm concerned that that won't understand anything on this web page. Has anyone any suggestions or advice?

  1. I would try some American children's tv shows for young children.  Shows like Teletubbies, Blue's Clues and Sesame Street have children reporters that do small 2 minute or so spots.  I know you are working with teenagers, but the language of these shows will be much easier for them to understand.  You should be able to find examples of them on youtube or SurfTheChannel.
