Does anyone know where I can find volunteer opportunities in Dallas, TX?

I need to volunteer as part of an RN school program. The minimum is four hours but I am willing to do more if the volunteer program requires it.

  1. Hi with only a four hour requirement it will be difficult to truly engage in a medical/disaster volunteer activity unless you can comitt to more then just what is required for your degree. Most organizations do not have minimum requirements but would be reluctant to take on a potential volunteer who is only considering volunteer for an afternoon. But the four hour requirement might be the gateway that you school uses to get their students interested and started in community service. Once you help someone in need and offer them hope and encouragement you can become hooked and before you know it, your 4 hour requirement could become a lifelong passion and hobby. At the Red Cross we have programs for Nurse Cadre, DAT and other medical and emergency responder personnel who respond and assist on various teams. Good luck!
