By custom I mean I design it and they make it.

I would like a reliable place that doesn't suck.

Good quality :)

  1. Not sure what this chick is talking about,  most of the time you have to sk8 on your deck a little at the moutain so the stomp pad is key. IM not sure where you could make your own, I would guess a place that makes stickers, as a stomp pad is most of the time just a piece of rubber with the sticky stuff on the underside.    I actually made my own custom stomp pad out of a bunch of them that i had. I used a DC one and a burton one and cut em with sissors and then i got the litttle metal diamond type things that can be used as a stomp pad and arranged them in a unique way on my deck, people ask me where i got it all the time.  Just get creative dude, you really dont have to get one made somewhere,

  2. Stomp pads are stupid anyway.  Just go without one.

EDIT: Yeah dude below me, I just have no idea what I am talking about, right?

Nobody I know who is any good uses a stomp pad.  I'm not saying they don't exist, I just don't know any.

I ride one-footed all the time.  You don't need a stomp pad to skate around.  It doesn't even do anything but make your board look stupid.  Unless you need training wheels on your board.

I'm just telling this guy how it is, they are stupid and you don't need them, so why bother putting them on your board?

If someone really wants one, fine, I'm not going to hate on them, but that doesn't change the fact they are not needed.

And just because someone is a snowboard instructor doesn't mean they know what they are talking about.  You don't have to be a very good rider to teach snowboarding.

  3. I'm not really sure if anybody makes custom ones, but I guess depending on what you mean by custom, you could go out buy a clear pad, and a pack of stickers or whatever you want to put onto your board.  Then just put it on and cover it with the clear stop pad.

That's the only thing I can think of.

Who cares if you need one or not.  I ride with one, on slushy days, it makes things so much easier.  I can ride without one, I just choose to ride with one.  It doesn't make your board look stupid, what the h**l is the difference in it's looks.  If you arrange it retardedly, then it becomes stupid, but otherwise, it doesn't change it's look, maybe even adds some flavor.

I have a feeling that there's going to be a flame war that starts between pdx and antwan.
