You can send them a photo with a detailed description & they'll give you a free appraisal.

They also have Auction Appraisal Events where you can bring up to 5 items to be appraised.

Their next appraisal event in San Francisco is on Aug 6th. If the painting is too big you can bring them photos.

Hi.  I would call the Asian Art Museum in San Fransisco http://www.asianart.org/  and ask them to recommend a trustworthy appraiser that they have used in the past.
