Does anyone know where I can get dirt cheap tickets to Fairbanks, Alaska?

Im from Oregon and my friend and I want to go to Alaska for this summer camp but I'm only 13 and she's 18 and theres no way we can afford 7 or 8 hundred dollars per person i would be eternally grateful if someone could find something around 5 hundred although that might just be wishful thinking on my part...

Tickets to and from Alaska are never inexpensive.

That being said, that doesn't mean you can't find a deal to fly up here.

First off, how much time do you have till your summer camp? If it's soon (within a couple weeks) good luck trying to find ANY discounts on flights to up here. We are in our tourism season, so tickets are usually pricier than usual-so booking a good time before coming is VERY WISE.

If I were you, I would try and find tickets to fly into Anchorage (our most populated city) through an online booking agent (I like kayak-but it's all a personal preferrence) Once you get your tickets to Anchorage, you should google "round trip flights from anchorage to Fairbanks". Alaska airlines (www.alaskaair.com) has in-state flying deals-and so do alot of smaller airline companies (the only one I can think of is ERA.)
