Does anyone know where I can get hold of some women's rugby shorts?!?

I am fed up of trying to run around with the crotch of my shorts half way to my knees, and really want to find some rugby shorts made for women!

If you can wait a day or two.  The womens team at my club train on Thursdays.  I'll go down tonight and ask them.  The chap who runs the club shop will be there too.

I wear barbarians. They are shorter but fit round butts better.

bought mine at jjb.  they have canterbury and patrick...they usually have a few in stock in the womens section, but if they don't have them there the junior section also have ones that tend to fit most women.

if you're playing for a team you can usually get them through them, but if it's just for training and the colour of the shorts doesn't matter I'd say get the kids ones by patrick...fit the average lass (size 10-12) and are cheap (usually about a fiver).

I'd suggest getting some lycras as well to wear underneath...more comfortable when you're playing and if you're being lifted in the lineout or in the scrum you'll definitely be glad of them...

Can't you just buy some made for early-to-mid teens? They must be around the same size as the average woman....

Given they they don't have a posing-puch sewn into the lining, it must simply be a matter of size - and boys play rugby from the age of about 8 upwards.

When I coached a women's team they wore regular shorts, but with lycra-type shorts underneath.
