Try using airfarewatchdog.com - they don't sell tickets, but they list the cheapest tickets they can find for tons of locations, and I've found they usually find the best ones around.

And I think most airlines will let a 14 year old ride by himself, they'll just have extra rules like you might have to hire someone to help him at layovers and such - check with the particular airline you find before booking the ticket.

Try Priceline and compare airlines, dates, it might make a difference leaving a few days earlier or later.  Also compare Priceline’s website with airline websites.

Cheaptickets.com is where my parents get all their tickets.

You can ride by yourself, I got to, and I'm a minor. 12 and under is a minor. I don't know if you need parent approval though. I'm guessing not, since over 12 is considered an adult. At 14, they'd probably let you on...

But I don't know much and may be wrong. :/
