Does anyone know where I can learn to do Sea kayaking near Guildford in Surrey?

Obviously there is no sea in Guildford, but I near some where close to learn. I need to learn to do Sea kayaking for a whale research trip in the Arctic that I want to go on.

Brighton Explorers do kayaking from the west pier on wednesday nights 6.30pm they got spare kits as well
