Does anyone know where Jim Cantore is?

Does anyone know why Jim Cantori isn't in New Orleans for Gustav? I have watched the weather channel reports for many years and Jim Cantori is always on the spot where the hurricane will make landfall. Where is he with Gustov? Have I missed something?

I was wondering the exact same thing! His not being on site might have to do with his children but I miss him :)

According the Biloxi Sun Herald -  he's in the Atlanta Weather Channel office and not expected to be in Biloxi [or farther west I'll bet.]

I may be wrong, but I understand that he is going to be reporting from Houma, Louisiana.

I tend to believe it, since I think that's where it will make landfall.

I'm just glad he's not in Hammond - where I live!
