  1. First, why are you a single mom?   Where's the father?

Second,  you had a child that you can't support??  Great life the two of you are going to have.

First thing you need to do is to go to court to get child support from the father.  Don't fall for his BS about how he'll pay, you don't have to go to court - go to court!!  You 'll get a lot more money plus he'll HAVE to pay.

  2. You would have to look for some kind of governmental aid try looking it up either on the web on in the local phone book theres usually the listings of numbers for this. Good luck and I know how things are these days I dont have a job and I havent had one since December 2007.. What a horrible economy we have now.

  3. Time to go to church.(not for religion)A lot of Catholic churches have missions & places to help with your bills in hard times. call ALL the churches and see who has what in your area. Also call All your bills & tell them your having a hard time paying them & see if there is anything or program that have already set in place for helping to lower your bills& pay. Some thrift stores also may know places or programs in your area, plus of course you computer look under social services for your area.Welfare does not pay your Bills but may give you some cash & food stamps.SCHOOLING PAYS.Depending on what you want to be when you grow up,being A single mom you can get you grants, scholarships & even living expense loans(to pay your bills).Go to community colleges talk to the finacial aid . Talk to people, don't be ashamed or embarrassed just think of your lil' baby. This is still America,we try to help our people in need.

  4. I don't know where you would have to go honey, but some people on here who answer questions need to realize that it is possible that the baby's father may have died before the baby was born.  Yes, people........single moms are single for all sorts of reasons.  Don't judge.  Where I live you have to apply at the local  public utilities office.
