  4. Clonmel is in South Tipperary, bordering Waterford on the River Suir. Situated in the South East of Ireland Clonmel is an excellent base for visiting a wide range of attractions. Main activities include angling, cycling, equestrianism, golf and walking. For the more leisurely we offer a superb array of castles and towers, abbeys and churches, monuments and historic sites in addition to forests and gardens all within easy reach of Clonmel Town. Our neighbouring Towns are Cashel, Cahir and Carrick on Suir. Neighbouring Counties are Waterford, Kilkenny, Cork, Clare, Limerick, Offaly, Laois and Galway,

Clonmel is nestled in the Comeragh Mountains with the Knockmealdown Mountains to our South and Legendary Slievenamon to our East.

  6. Clonmel is on the N24, the main road between Waterford and Limerick. It's much closer to Waterford.

It's not a bad place, nice countryside around it. The town centre has undergone a serious revamping in recent years, so it looks a lot better than it used to.
