Does anyone know where i can buy a kostov traction motor for an electric vehicle?

They seem to have disappeared, at least under that name.  There's nothing on eBay, and the only sites that mention Kostov are from the 1990's.  I don't think that the motors themselves are all that miraculous, even though they are definitely nifty; you may find it simpler to initially use a higher speed motor plus a set of reduction gears.  Check out Surplus Center in Lincoln Nebraska (they have an on-line catalog) for bargains in this sort of thing.
