i have never heard of oat grits.  oats are oats and grits are ONLY corn.  You can get grits in just about any supermarket.

I agree with the first answer: grits are the famous dish from the Southern States of the US made from coarsely ground corn (Maize). I wonder if you are thinking of "groats" which is the oat equivalent. It is a staple dish of several Eastern European countries but is also served as "groaty pudding" (Groaty d**k) in the Black Country of England. I believe you can buy the ingredients from the Quaker Oat company.
