Does anyone know where i can buy the bag style infant/newborn snowsuits? ?

I had one with my oldest daughter (now 8) and it was a heavy snowsuits but it had no legs just a bag and it had a slit in the bottom area for the carseat to hook thru. I can't find one and I really want one for the new baby due in February.

I was told at a baby care class while i was pregnant that those snowsuits are not safe for baby in the car seat. Something about the extra material behind the baby making it so that the baby isn't as secure and tight in the car seat. I was told to just put a blanket over them or the bundle me bag like someone else suggested

I was at Babies R Us earlier today and I saw many of them.

Please be very careful with the puffy material and car seats. When in an accident, the puffy material will collapse onto itself and the car straps are no longer tight against the baby's body and the baby can be thrown from the car seat. I am not trying to be rude, but I do not know if you know this, so I wanted to put it out there.

Carters had some really nice ones...I just saw theres...although I don't know if it had a slit for the carseat to go through...also check babies r us.
