Does anyone know where i can get cloudy bay or saint clair wine from?

ive checked in supermarkets and threshers and the only place i seen it is internet but i need a bottle for tomorrow.

  1. Not really supermarket stuff that. Perhaps some larger oddbins at best. Best bet are independant wine merchants.... not high street places. In other words don't waste your time even trying places like Threshers, wine rak, bottoms Up etc for this.

    Cloudy Bay have managed to build themselves nearly into a cult wine so you often find it is allocation only in some places.

    Personally, NZ has much better to offer and it is all just the standard LVMH hype.

    Get your hads on some Allan Scott, Escarpment or Te Mata for some good examples of NZ wine... once again though you are best at proper wine merchants for this stuff. Their production levels simply couldn't supply the big supermarkets.


  2. Isn't Cloudy Bay a NZ wine? In that case you would need to go to a big outlet, i don't think smaller ones go in for imported stuff much do they?

  3. you didn't give your location so this is a little tuff.  go to yellowpages.com and tell it your location. then look under wine. It will give you all the local wine distributors and you call and ask if they have the kind you want..
