  1. you can  get it at any health food store but raspberry leaf tea does not bring on labor you could also take evening primrose oil it helps to soften the cervix

    Red Raspberry leaf

    What is Red Raspberry Leaf?

The leaf from the Red Raspberry plant (either Rubus strigosus or Rubus idaeus) is made into a tea that can be drank throughout pregnancy to hep tone the uterus.

What does Red Raspberry Leaf do?

Red Raspberry Leaf tea has been used throughout history as a way to tone and strengthen the uterus. Not only is it a good source of vitamins, but it also helps to increase fertility and reduces the risk of miscarriage. Some women find it eases morning sickness and it is believed to help make labor more efficient and less painful.

    How do I do it?

Red Raspberry Leaf tea is widely available in both loose leaf and bagged varieties. Pour boiling water over the tea and steep for 10 to 15 minutes, then drink.

Some sample red raspberry leaf uses:

Drink daily to help tone the uterus and pelvic floor. While drinking the tea, do pelvic floor exercises.

Drink during labor to help stimulate stronger contractions.

Drink after your baby is born to help milk production and to assist the uterus in returning to pre-pregnancy size.

  2. DO NOT DO RASPBERRY TEA!  I specifically asked my doctor about this and she was adamant.  Apparently, it can cause a violent onset of labor and do damage to the placenta.  Not a risk I was willing to take at 41 weeks.  I tried everything you mentioned and the only tried and true method was patience.  That baby will come when she's good and ready no matter what you do to encourage her.

  3. You usually can get raspberry leaf tea at your local health food store

  4. You can buy it at any health food shop. Most GNC's carry it... I got mine from a place called The Vitamin Shoppe (I dont know if that is a chain?) And also, it did not work for me. Nothing will make that baby come out till they are good and ready.

  5. They sell all kinds of herbal teas at grocery stores

  6. Do you have a whole foods or fresh market where you live? They have lots of teas and such...good luck!
