  1. go to www.earth911.org they can locate recycle centers by zipcode.

  2. I used to take my paper to a place in Torrance off Western and Torrance Blvd but I think they changed their name.

I looked up recycling centers in Torrance and found this link:

    http://recycletorrance.org/where.php

which offers maps of Torrance along with the Los Angeles Region with addresses of recycling companies.

There's also a place literally at the end of the 710 freeway in Pasadena but I don't know the name. The last I saw they were offering $75 a ton for sorted news. That's just newsprint gray paper, no magazine or glossy mixed in. SO check them out if you can.

Ambit Recycling in Gardena is fair. But I don't know if the place I went to in Torrance is still in business.

  3. Check this link to find recycling centers near you:

  4. Canco Recycling has several locations in the area.

You only get $100 per ton so it will take a lot to make it worthwhile.
