post it on ebay.com or craiglist.org but on ebay you are going to need to be a member and on craiglist you will have to kind of have to deliver it yourself but on ebay you can send it by mail and the other person is going to have to pay sending and handaling but also on craiglist you dont need to be a member. sorry to many buts and ands

The best way I know how to get your stuff sold is to post it on craigslist.org.  It's free to post an ad, you just give a description of what your selling and the price you want to sell it for.  I've used it in the past to sell or buy stuff and it works out pretty good.  Just post a picture of what you are selling and people can either inquire about it through e-mail or if you choose to post your phone # they can call you.  It's pretty self explanatory when you go to the website to place and ad.

Honestly Ebay is the best place. I tried to sell a necklace at a pawn shop and was only going to get $20 for it. I sold it on ebay for $200.

Yup.  I live in Westchester County.  The Westchester County Center is a good place to sell stuff like that.  They often will have Computer Sales as well as assorted technology sales going on.  The address is 198 Central Avenue in White Plains, NY.  If you would like to contact them, their number is: 914-995-4050.  They are located right off the Bronx River Parkway.
