Does anyone know where i can volunteer at in los angles county im 13?

a lot of places you have to be like 16 or older bu i really want to volunteer at a animal place HELP!!

I live in So-Cal (the IE) and it sucks because I'm 16 and I can't even volunteer. :( I've asked around and most places in california (that involve live animals) require you to be 18. It's a legal child safety thing. I know it's not what you wanted to hear, but maybe you can go to privately owned animal sanctuaries?

most places will let you volunteer under 16 with an accompanying adult. just call local shelters & vets and tell them  youll do the dirty work like cleaning doo doo
