  1. According to popular belief, all that information is stored in your cells memory, the belief that you can access it is up to you. As for me, I'm working on it for myself!!! :-)


  2. Assuming that you mean the "prominent orator and politician from Illinois", do this:

    Go to the website listed in sources below.

    Fill in "Robert" for first name. "Ingersoll" for last name.  Choose "Birth/Christening"  in the Event drop-down-menu. Fill in 1833 for Year.  Click "Search".

    When the Results page comes back, scroll to the bottom and click on the last (number 10.) entry under Pedigree Resource File.

    When the Individual Record page comes up you can see his vital statistics.

    Click on Pedigree in the upper right corner and you can see his family tree.

    You can click on the right-pointing arrows and see even more remote ancestors.  (1522 is a LONG time ago.)
