    The first recorded performance of Macbeth was at the Globe Theatre in the Spring of 1611 (Dr Simon Forman's manuscript "The Bocke of Plais and Notes therof per Formans for Common Pollicie" - Ashmolean Museum).

    Because of contemporary sources it is believed that it was written between the years 1603 and 1606. So presumably it would have been performed before !611 but there is no recording of this.
