Does anyone know where to buy a ferret in Vegas?

I know ferrets are illegal in California, but I still want to buy one. I went to a nearby pet shop and they said ferrets can be found in Nevada or Vegas. Does anyone know any pet shops in Vegas that sell ferrets maybe somewhere near the Strip?

You can find them at any Petco. I don't think they have them at PetSmart, but I do know they have them at Petco. I was just there not too long ago, and they had them.

Bad idea they are very hard to keep.They have flees,they burrow into furniture,they bite. still want one? I wouldn't.

Unfortunately, my friend, if ferrets are illegal in California, then it will also be illegal to buy one in another state and then keep it in California.

However, if you do not live in CA, and somehow randomly incorporated the state into your question, then I suppose a pet store. I highly advise looking for a ferret rescue in your area, though. A lot of times, pet stores buy Marshall Farms ferrets. Marshall Farms use ferrets (and other small animals too, I might add) for testing purposes, and their fuzzies have been found to be less healthy than others. So getting your new buddy from a local breeder or rescue place would be the best idea.

They're illegal, and if caught, you'll be fined around $1,000, and the animal will most likely be put to sleep. Don't put yourself and the animal at risk. Don't choose your desire to own a pet over what's good for the animal. Go adopt something that's not illegal and save a life instead of possibly ending one.
