  1. the vet's

    or 1-800-PET-MEDS

  2. Your vet will prescribe a medication that is known to be safe and effective. Panacur, strongid or drontal will do the job. These products obtained outside of a veterinarian or a licensed pharmacy can not be trusted to be authentic. If an adverse reaction occurs you have no recourse as the manufacturer will veiw it as a bootlegged product.

  3. Yes, at your vet's.  Have you had her positively evaluated for roundworms?  If not, do not give her medication for something that she may not have.  A vet will check her out and give you appropriate medication.  Grocery store and even pet store stuff is not as good as veterinary medicine.

  4. vet

  5. Well, I have used Nemex found at my local farmers co-op for years now. I keep it in the fridge and it last a long time. Follow the directions for dosage. My vet said that Nemex was fine and effective. I have found that the hartz type wormers do not work for me.

    Good Luck.

  6. definitely from a vet,pet shop or stores who sell brands of wormers are no good, they don't kill the worms they only make them lie dormant in the animals.my vet told me this 18yrs ago when my dog nearly died from them when i brought a brand of wormers by johnson, also last week she told me even the flea collars are no good from these places either, one of the reasons is because the stores can't get a license to sell poisonous chemicals, and also the collars are a repellent, they don't kill fleas on the animals
