Does anyone know where to catch the cheep bus from San Jose to Tamarindo?

I{m in San Jose, and I need to get my butt to Tamarindo, but no one seems to know where I can catch the cheap bus. can anyone help me out?

From downtown San Jose you want the Alfaro bus which leaves from Avenida 5 y Calle 14 just north of the Coca Cola bus terminal. There are three buses a day at 8:30am, 11:30am and another at 3:30pm. It's about $6 to Tamarindo

Any Tico could help you out.  Everyone knows the buses.  However, you can also just take a taxi and ask to go to the station that goes to Tamarindo. All buses are cheap! You'll probably get there for about $4
