Does anyone know where to find cool things for an alice in wonderland party?

i am throwing an alice in wonderland party and i want to decorate the room with paper lanterns....where can i find them. also, if you have any ideas on how to make the party extra special i could use all the help i can get. ideas on food, decorations, activities, and anything else you can think of is sooooooo greatly apprieciated. thanks.

go to the disney store and check out their alice in wonderland products they have in stock for ideas or possible purchase. Good will or other places like that salvation army for example may have the hats they wore available or tea cups.

OK. I'm not sure where you are, but I'm almost positive that there is a dollar store near you since they are all over. Get paper lanterns there. here is a list of ideas:

Decorations:

1) Craft large red hearts to place around the room, if artistic, you can create large cards for wall decorations.

2) Red and white streamers twisted together from corner to corner.

3) Paint on large boxes scenes from Alice in Wonderland for outdoor tea party.

Activity Fun:

1) Create a large backyard maze with empty boxes, you can find free boxes at appliance stores, hardware and grocery stores.

2) Pinata in form of bunny or tea pot.

3) Tea party with tea cups & cookies.

4) Coin toss in tea cup game

5) Old Maid Card Game

6) Watch Alice in Wonderland Movie

7) Draw a large white bunny on posterboard & play pin the tail on the bunny.

8) Bubble machine, blows large bubbles for little ones to chase available at party stores.

Cake & Food Ideas:

1) Tea Pot Cake

2) Mad Hatters Hat Cake

3) Tea Cup Cake

4) Queen of Hearts Cake

5) Cookies that say "eat me"

6) Finger Sandwiches

7) Tea cup with card that says "drink me"

I think that your friend will really like it! have fun and make sure not to have a strict agenda. Just have a basic idea of what to do.

Most party stores have the lanterns and maybe Target too since they have their Summer items out. You can go to thrift stores to get the tea cups and tea pots. Watch Alice in Wonderland and try to get some decorating ideas from the movie.
