Does anyone know where to find sasparila and sassafrass in Toronto?

I want to brew my own root beer and need to find sasparilia, sassafrass, wintergreen extract and hops. Any ideas?

  1. Noah's Natural foods, they have the roots and extracts, it is on Bloor St at Spadina, on the same side as the ScotiaBank down past the the Pizza-Pizza place.

    They have concentrated flavour along with the actual root and sassafra leaves, in the jars at the back of the store, hops too just ask, sometime they move stuff on me.

    Your going to need some licorice root and fennel seeds, get the roots and barks, and brew it like tea, and then strain it out and add your sugar, I prefer a dark brown or natural one, I made it years ago with a bottle of Hire RB extract, just becareful, especially when fermenting.
