  1. Go on Ebay and look around.  I was able to get 5 egg cases for very little money.  I put the cases in a paper bag and sat them outside.  Each case hatched out between 50-100 mantids.

  2. i found one in our pool for summer school

it was decolorized but alive haha

    but i want a chameleon

  3. There are on line companies that will sell egg cases.  Set one out and the little guys appear. They should be hatched out by end of July, so too late this year.  Remember, praying mantids will eat anything, including their brothers and sisters, ladybugs, etc.  Anything they encounter is a potential meal.  Also they have a limited life cycle.....one season and they die.  Hopefully your hatchling is a female and she lays an egg sac for you and you have her offspring next season.

    Here's just one company: http://www.biconet.com/biocontrol/mantis...

    Search for more.

  4. some gardening catalogs sell them
