My sister and I are going to try out for the school volleyball team, we bought a volleyball to practice with but it is really hard. Does anyone know where to get a really really soft volleyball? Maybe the indoor volleyballs?

  1. The volley lite is a good choice if you are 12 and under girl.  If you are a boy or are over 12, you will get used to the lite volleyball and then you will be using a heavier volleyball when you start playing.

Tachikara makes some great volleyballs.  Molten makes the volleyballs used in the national championships for USA Volleyball.  If you get a good leather volleyball from almost any manufacturer, you will get a good volleyball.  Do not buy the cheapest one out there.  You will try it two or three times and it will sit on the shelf.  If you take care of your more expensive volleyball, you can keep it for years.

  2. Get a Molten Supertouch VB. & inflat it to 4.3 psi.

You will have to get used to it or you won't get the same feeling in a game.

  3. I would suggest a pool volleybal because they are the same things just sopher. Also, don't get a gopher one ( it's a brand) because they are really hard.

  4. d**k's Sporting Goods: Super Soft Touch Setters Volleyball

  5. if ur going out for the team dont get a soft ball cuz thats isnt what you will be using..

    =]

~ i learned that before hand!! good tip trust me

u can get it .. at a sports store

best of luck. my wishes to ya.!!

  6. well, volleylite is a really soft brand, but i wouldn't recommend it, becasue then it will be really difficult for you, when you join the team, and probably won't get to use that brand. wilson colleyballs are great, i recommend them!

  7. thw two kind of balls you would want to get are a volley-lite which is a lightre softer version of a professional volleyball that will help your skills and a Soft Firsttouch volleyball. you can get the Firsttouch at:

    http://www.newitts.com/product/OS-210/So...

    and the volley-lite at

    http://www.kbacoach.com/volleylite.html

  8. My first volleyball was soft and i got it from either Wal-Mart or target! The cheap ones work great for practicing for school teams. I hope i helped you!
