Question:

Does anyone know where to get cheap-moderately priced Character Shoes in San Diego? Or near it?

I'm in show choir, and I don't want to spend 47 dollars for a pair from the shop where my dress is being tailored at. My friend said that she bought some for 27 dollars from a store in la mesa, but doesn't remember the store name.

Please help me! ):

I need it by next wednesday.

  1. I liek discount dance supply too, myself. They have a great variety of styles, colors, and prices too!

Depends on what kind of character shoe you're looking for. Black or tan? Regular Mary Jane strap or a T-strap? Do you need taps added (probably not in choir but it's a thought). Also depends on the heel size. I had a director who wanted the girls in no less than 3'' characters (because it made our legs look longer and more feminine) - but the 3" heels were more expensive than the lower heels....

Here is a regular pair for $23

    Love the T-strap for $33!

Here is that theatrical one (2 1/2 inches) for $51

    Hope this helps!
