  1. You are looking for white gas,aka lantern or camp fuel.

You just might find it at sears or depot, though a sporting goods store is your best bet.

DO NOT USE GASOLINE--oh it will work but in addition to burning up the mantels,....just don't use gasoline, trust me.

This is not a propane lantern..............

  2. That's the old model with those small slide out propane canisters right?

I don't know if those can be found anymore. I'm not even sure if they can be refilled.

    Try contacting Coleman themselves.

  3. You can still find coleman fuel at most major sporting good stores in the camping section.

  4. The old Coleman lanterns ran on "white gas" which is just unleaded fuel. You can still buy Coleman fuel in cans at sporting goods stores like Gander Mt. or d**k's, but I've always used plain unleaded gas. Keep the parts clean though, or you will have problems.

  5. I saw where some bonehead said Home Depot. I hope you don't go there looking for coleman fuel. You will not find that, or any other camping supplies there either. Try d**k's, Wal-mart, Target, Bass pro shops, Cabela's. Just pick the one closest to you. Also, DO NOT use unleaded gas in that lantern. I saw the other idiots posting too!!

  6. ANY WHERE THEY SELL CAMPING SUPPLIES! WALMART,Sears,HOME DEPOT!

  7. Have and still use them "antique'ers" ;)... Ol' "Wally World" aka Walmart carries it along with most of your major outlets stores and Sears be just another one of many ;)... < ' ( (( > <

Note: One finds out somethin' new just bout' each day, well this be one of them days ie., Coleman Stoves will accept unleaded gasoline! Now whether this be the newer types that Coleman puts out, that I do not know but, accordin' to this Walmart link they will...

Added: This be yet another confirmation on the Unleaded gas and this be from the "Horse's Mouth" ie., Coleman...
