Does anyone know where you can buy crisping paper for microwave? It is called microwave susceptors

  1. As far as I know, it's not available on a non-commercial scale. The only thing close to it is this Waveware Microbake Crisping Dish, linked below.


  2. I still have some (on a roll) I bought long ago, but don't know if it's still sold.  It's called "Microcrisp", made by General Mills for Australia, and distributed in the US by Microcrisp USA, La Jolla CA...the phone number on the box is 800.447.2654 if they're still there.

    You can also save the little inserts that come with other things that can be crisped with specially coated papers/boards and reuse them a few times (even though they say not too... probably just so you'd use more of their product).

    That crisping pan for the microwave suggested above sounds like the best deal though.  

    Otherwise, the only way to brown/crisp in a microwave is to put the food in a MicroMax inside it-- it will brown-crisp both sides of the food at the same time... and those may no longer be sold either.
