  1. Most libraries have a subscription to a genealogy site.

    All you need is a library card for your local library system to use their subcsription and access the Census Records.

    This allows you to print the document, for future reference, for a small fee (less than $1.00 per page).

    Before the Internet, libraries either owned or could order the  reels of available Census Records and they probably still have some of them tucked away in a drawer somewhere.


  2. The Church of Jesus Christ of LAtter DAy Saints has free family history centers all over the country.  Look in your local phone book under that name for a family history center listing.  You could also probably find it online with a bit of googling.
