I know some beer is made with some kind of fish product (oil or something) and I was wondering if anyone knew which ones. I know Guinness used to and I heard they don't anymore. Can anyone help?

  1. nope i cnt, y would ya wanna b vegan, MEAT, MEAT MEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ANIMAL BI-PRODUCTS, ANIMAL BI-PRODUCTS, ANIMAL BI-PRODUCTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. I have been assured that the following are animal-free. However, as these products are not registered with The Vegan Society, the manufacturing process may be altered at any time without our knowledge, so please do check first.

    Bass: Grolsch (except crown top)

    Budweiser: All

    Carlsberg-Tetley: Carlsberg, Lowenbrau Pils

Charles Wells Beers Can, Bottle, Keg (NOT Cask): Bombardier Bitter, Eagle Bitter, Banana Bread Beer, Red Stripe Lager, Kirin Lager, Cobra Lager

Interbrew: Heineken Export, Hoegaarden, Rolling Rock

Scottish Courage Ltd: Beck's, Brugs, Grimbergen, Holsten Pils, Judas, Kingfisher, Mort Subite

  3. Hi,

This site has a list: http://www.veganvanguard.com/vegism/beer...

Must admit it's not something I'd ever worry about though. Learn something new every day.

  4. Guinness still does use isinglass so I would stay away from them.  Also any beer that advertises honey or honey-wheat is not vegan.

For more in-depth info on vegan alcohol go here:  http://tastebetter.com/features/booze/ty...

try this site.  And if you type "vegan beer" in a search engine you can find the same sites I did.  And it's a lot faster.
