  1. you do.....the demonstrator will have you pick out 1-3 recipes from her list......you purchase the ingredients and she demonstrates the products by making the food during the party

  2. The person hosting the party provides the food.    The demonstrator will use her products and your food.     After all, you get free merchandise/product discounts for people buying items through your party.

  3. the person hosting it

  4. Normally, the host will provide the ingredients for the recipe, but it may depend on your consultant.  I am a consultant and usually provide the ingredients and have the host reimburse me $10.  That way I have flexibility to use not-so-common ingredients without burdening the host to find them.  And I can use stuff like a dozen eggs between several hosts and cut costs that way.  My hosts are normally very receptive to this since it saves them the trouble of shopping.  All I have them do is have them hand me the $10 when I get to their home.  Most consultants don't do this, but if it means the difference between you hosting or not, you should ask your consultant if she would be willing to do it that way.

  5. Usually you provide the food.  You also get to choose the recipe from those that the consultant likes to use.

However, becuase you bought the food, you get a 15 dollar pampered chef credit, added to the free stuff you get for doing the show.  So for a show that nets over 150 dollars, you get at least 15 dollars in free product!

  6. Normally you would. Pampered Chef allocates $15 in food reimbursement in free products. That's why a cooking show with $150 in sales receives $15 credit while a catalog show with $150 in sales doesn't. As what was said by Icook4u, it usually depends on the consultant. Some do purchase the food and ask the host for cash. It typically makes it easier on all involved. This way the consultant knows that the correct ingredients are purchased. Some consultants sometimes offer to purchase the products out of their own pocket in an incentive drive. I had a low booking month where I offered to purchase everything if someone booked a show. Like I said, it depends on teh consultant. Ask yours for what she's doing.
