Right a female is singing it, it sounds kinda 80s/rock/pop.

The lyrics go 'You set me, you set me on fire'

I know theres not much to go on guys but i really wanna know what it is i heard it in a bar a few weeks back

It could be one of the following songs:

You set me on Fire by Sonia

Set me on Fire by MC Fixx-It

You set me on Fire by Jimmy Lunceford

The one by Sonia was probably made during the late 80's or early 90's as her career as a songwriter was launched in 1989.

MC Fixx-It's version was rap so you probably wouldn't have heard it in a bar.

I couldn't find much about Jimmy.

I think your best bet would be to go with the Sonia one because as you said, a girl was singing it.  I hope I helped and good luck finding your song! =)
