Does anyone know who the original Elle Woods on Broadway was. Im confused?

i know Laura Bell Bundy played Elle after her run as Amber Von Tussle but who played Elle before Laura was it Becky Gulsvig or Annaleigh Ashford?

i looked up both names and it said they both played elle.

Laura Bell Bundy was the original Elle on broadway. Gulsvig and Ashford were understudys.

Laura Bell Bundy was the first Elle Woods on Broadway. The other actors you looked up may've preformed in other theaters, maybe in LA, but not on Broadway.

laura bell bundy was the original!  she created the role back when it was workshopped and then opened it up on broadway, its only been on broadway for less than two years.  the other girls played leilani and margot respectively, in addition to being elle understudies.
