  1. There's a book with this name by Alice Munro.  See the link below:

    Jules :-)

  2. I know there is a book by Munro, I think, with that title. It's also been the subject of many country and western songs. I don't know that anyone coined it themselves. It's kind of an everyday thing to say.

Mostly it means that there is nothing better than the love of a good woman.

  3. You request is vague.

There is a quote by Richard Maltby that has that phrase in it

“an almost mythic American tale ? of growing up in simple, dirt-poor surroundings in the heartland of America, leaving home, travelling on wings of music, finding love, misadventure, success, faith, redemption, and the love of a good woman.”

  4. Oh I'm quite sure it was by, and about, your mother.

  5. The Love of a Good Woman was a book of short stories by Alice Munro who I think is canadian. Whether she was first to coin the phrase I dont know. In the bible there is a proverb that says the a virtuous woman is priced above rubies but I dont think thats what you're looking for. I have also heard that the love of a bad woman is worth more!
