  1. Well you should give money to that guy and tell him the situation so it would buy the psp and the ipod in Mexico.

Chinese economy is destroying the antique or indigenous mexican industries.

  2. I can't see why you couldn't send an Ipod to Mexico, that really sounds stupid. But hey, I had a very bad experience with UPS a few years back because my ice skates didn't pass customs because of some stupid error or something.

The restrictions Mexico has against Chinese goods are more for pirate clothes and such because they take away mexican employment (stuff still enters the country illegally though) and the restrictions are for chinese imports sent within China, not from the US.

I suggest you to try sending the stuff from DHL, very good service.

  3. I would check further, everything here in Mexico. that's cheap is made in China. It may be a problem with Home Land Security, which is a pain in the f***y. Now, when we buy something from the US, a package with our defective item, our cross border delivery person can't take it across. Got to watch those defective espresso coffee machines could be dangerous to national security..

  4. There is a lot of stuff that comes from China that is illegal, like fake watches fake brands of clothing, and recently most of the anfetamines comes from China, a lot Dumping too.

So there are some sanctions, since there is a lot of illegal smugling of bad products...But there should be a way  since there is also a lot of good products that comes from China. being sold in Mexico.
