Does anyone know why my dog would pee on me?

i have wiener dog and she peed on me. we were just sitting on the chair, and then she got up came right back and peed on me. she didn't go to the door to get out. anyone know why she would do this?

  1. 1) she just really had to pee.

    2) she was marking you as her territory.

    3) she was really excited or frightened.

  3. HAHAHAHAHAHA!! I dunno... hahaha, that sucks. When dogs do that, it usually means they're nervous or excited

  7. That is a dominence thing her owning you.  You need to get some pack leadership material and read up.  You need to be the leader of the pack and that doesn't mean being mean or anything like that.

    Get into to a basic obedience course and also consider having her spayed.   I am not a big pusher of that but there are times when it is necessary and marking is on  of them

    I have a blog on excessive urination if there is more of this kind of behaviour that you have noticed.

  9. She's marking you.  As far as she's concerned she's the alpha dog.  I'd look into dog classes to help you establish ownership.

  10. She might be angry with you or she is showing you who the boss is.

    She might have a urinary tract infection if she needs to pee frequently

  12. Maybe she has a bladder infection or something? I don't know. Dogs most likely wouldnt do it because they hold a grudge against you lol, they wouldnt know that peeing on someone was all that bad. she probably didnt know much better. maybe if shes knew, she might think you like her peeing if you get excited and praise her for peeing outside instead of inside O_O... haha i seriously have no clue.   15. Do you mean a Daschund? Sounds like she needs a lot more discipline and toilet training! I would get her checked also she does not have a bladder infection or stomach ache that causes her to pee randomly.

  19. Does she have a bladder infection? It sounds as if she might. has she been peeing more frequently? Watch her does she just pee a little and then have to pee again?  A vet may be needed!
