Does anyone know why my iPod won't turn on?

I've tried the hold and menu and up button thing, but the apple logo won't come on. I've had it for half a year and I don't know what's wrong with it. When I try and sync my iPod to the computer nothing happens. Can someone please help?

if you hold down the menu button for like a min. it should reset itself and work. If that doesn't work i would either send it back to apple or bring it back to the store you bought it from. Good luck!

is it died if not then call the number on the back go on line and enter the sin # on the web site
