Very early in the morning I heard a humongous crash, I'm still not sure what it was... anyway, I looked over to where my cat sleeps and she was having a seizure and making sounds like she had to puke! Does anyone know what might be wrong with her? She is 15 years old, which is quite old. :(

  1. A number of things could be going on there. She could have a brain tumour, she could have aged epilepsy, even malnutrition can catch up at that age and cause a seizure.

Vets have muzzles for cats and this could be a serious problem. Take her to the vet, it may be the only thing that can diagnose her problem.

  2. There could be any number of reasons.  The standard answer is to take her to the vets to get it checked out.  It might not be anything serious but then again, it might.

If she's ok now and you really don't want to take her to the vets (but I would), keep a close eye on her.  Make sure she's eating and drinking properly.  Any change in her condition, get her to the vets.

Better to be safe than sorry!
