When I hold my iguana (3 years old), she is very tame and has never been aggressive before. All of a sudden though, when I walk by her cage, she jumps into the wire like she's trying to attack me and starts bobbing her head. She has even done it with such force that her nose and mouth start bleeding. As soon as I take her out of her cage, she's fine. Her cage is huge (6 ft. x 6 ft) and she has lived there since she was baby. I've had her for three years now and she has never acted like this before. Anyone know why she only attacks while in her cage?

  2. iguanas are like that they have sudden mood changes most long term keepers say they can never be truely tamed and if they do want u in there space or dont want to do something or sometimes just if there bored they attack u sometimes without warning. its just part of keeping an iguana
