When I hold my iguana (3 years old), she is very tame and has never been aggressive before. All of a sudden though, when I walk by her cage, she jumps into the wire like she's trying to attack me and starts bobbing her head. She has even done it with such force that her nose and mouth start bleeding. As soon as I take her out of her cage, she's fine. Her cage is huge (6 ft. x 6 ft) and she has lived there since she was baby. I've had her for three years now and she has never acted like this before. Anyone know why she only attacks while in her cage?
