Does anyone know zippers well?

Lol..I wasn't sure how to ask. Uhm, I bought this sweater the other day. It has a zipper. And they're not aligned. Can anyone tell me how I can get it back aligned?

Manually and alot of finger strength.   You have to watch to see where the teeth do not mesh properly.   Basically the zipper is worn out.

If you are having a problem with a zipper on a new sweater, I'd take it back to the store.
